Updating in CALL DIALOG

Symptom
In a dialog element, an update with CALL FUNCTION ... IN
UPDATE TASK with subsequent COMMIT WORK is issued. No update takes
place however.
Cause
CALL DIALOG does not define its own Logical Unit of Work. This can only
be done by the calling transaction, which is the only process that can
request update of update records with COMMIT WORK.
Solution
Carry out update with COMMIT WORK in the calling transaction.
