Function ADD FIELDS: Error E-436

Symptom

When a Data Dictionary table that is to get a new field on the end
of the structure (ADD FIELDS function) is edited, the following
message is issued, although the table does not show any inconsistencies:

** Activate table xyz with added fields***
E-436 Please specify an active data element or domain
** Terminatation activate table xyz

Cause

A new field was added to the table and a data element from another
field was simultaneously switched, so that the internal length and
internal type of this field have not changed.

This case only deals with the ADD FIELDS function (attach a field
to the end of the table structure). The activation task does not
recognize this, however, and terminates the activation.

Solution

1) Until 1.2A, you can enter the table in the converter SE14.
This executes the ADD FIELDS and activates the table in the
DATA DICTIONARY.

2) The error is eliminated from 1.2A (correction B20K001038,
emergency correction to B11 for the 1.0 track).
