External performs + function modules

Symptom

Table work areas and common parts are not shared for external
perorm.

Cause

For both main programs and function groups, external performs are
made in the same form pool. The first external perform determines
with which program the form pool shares its table work areas and
common parts. The other program can then no longer access the
common data.

The reason for this behavior is the fact that function groups have
their own work areas for tables and common parts. The communication
between the main program and a function module should take place
only via the (documented) parameter interface.

Solution

1. When possible, do no work with external performs in function
modules. If so, exchange all necessary data via parameters.
2. From function modules, call up a copy of the form pool.
