/DSD/BF: Transparency for Stock on Truck (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension SCM, Enhancement Package 3 (EA-SCM 603), business function Enhancement of the DSD Process (/DSD/BF), you can track the material stock on the truck during a tour.

You can post the material stock that is on the vehicle at the start of the tour to a special stock. This means that this material quantity is not accessible for the availability check during the tour.

This is especially relevant for a delivery process with a late goods issue. The goods issue is not posted until the final settlement run in this case, so that a goods issue only takes place for goods that have actually been delivered.

Note
You cannot post a goods issue for material that is part of the stock on truck.

You can create an unloading document at check-in. If the document is released, the unloaded stock is posted back to the unrestricted-use warehouse stock before the final settlement run, and is thus available again.

You can use the transaction Process Final Unloading Document (/DSD/SV_RL_RELEASE) to process the unloading document.

As well as the one-time initial load and full unload, the function also supports the following processes:

• Reload or unload during the tour

• Exchange of a load between two drivers

• Remaining quantities on truck after end of tour

You make the required Customizing settings in Customizing for Logistics Execution under Direct Store Delivery -> Stock View.
