Country-Specific: Certification for Great Britain (Enhanced)

Use

Starting in Release 7.2 of SAP GRC Global Trade Services (SAP GRC GTS), you can use the links to the British customs systems to handle your cross-border trade. You can use the following processes for declaration in a customs procedure:

• Customs declarations for imports with Customs Handling and Export Freight (CHIEF)

• Standard procedure with Full Import Declaration

• Simplified procedure as Customs Freight Simplified Procedure (CFSP)

• Customs declarations for exports with New Export System (NES)

• Standard procedure with Full Export Declaration

• Simplified procedure as Local Clearance Procedure (LCP) for export through authorization as approved exporter within the framework of the national electronic customs system for exports

• You can also use the European electronic transit procedure, New Computerized Transit System (NCTS), for the following processes:

• Open transit procedure

• Open transit procedure as authorized consignor

• Discharge transit procedure

• Discharge transit procedure as authorized consignee

• Cancel opened transit procedure

• These processes are contained in the delivery Customizing starting in this release.

Effects on Existing Data

Effects on Data Transfer

You can use the integration with the logistics processes in feeder system SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP) to create customs declarations and customs shipments from the data in the logistics documents. To do so, you can configure the transfer of the respective logistics documents for the following processes:

• Customs import declarations prior to goods receipt with SAP GRC GTS, based on document data from purchasing documents and inbound deliveries in SAP ERP

• Customs import declarations after goods receipt SAP GRC GTS, based on document data from material documents for goods receipts

• Customs export declarations with SAP GRC GTS, based on document data from the billing documents as the sales document in SAP ERP

• Customs shipments to dispatch transit procedures with SAP GTC GTS, based on the document data from the inbound deliveries in SAP ERP

• Customs shipments to open transit procedures with SAP GTC GTS, based on the document data from the outbound deliveries in SAP ERP
