Technical Changes in SAP Global Trade Services (Changed)
Use
The following technical changes are active starting in Release 7.1 of SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS):
- Business Add-In (BAdI) for customs warehouse processing for shipment to border in customs warehouse process
- The BAdI to control shipments in the customs warehouse procedure to the border has been enhanced with the following features:
- Additional return parameter for the customs status of document items
- This additional return parameter makes it possible to differentiate between duty-paid and duty-unpaid document items.
- Additional call of BAdI
- In addition to the previous logic, the system now also calls the BAdI for duty-paid and duty-unpaid items in documents. This lets you open transit procedures for duty-paid and duty-unpaid products. This is necessary, for example, to provide a transit procedure with T2 or T documents for the shipment of duty-paid products between countries of a customs union via a third country. Previously, the system only called the BAdI for duty-unpaid items, to open a transit procedure with a T1 document.
- Form printing in SAP GTS
- Starting in SAP GTS 7.1, all printable forms have been converted to the new Adobe print technology. All future adjustments and changes in SAP GTS forms will be implemented exclusively with the PDF-based forms with this new technology. We therefore recommend converting your forms from Smart Forms to Adobe printing technology.
