/DSD/BF: Enhancement of Repeat Printout (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension SCM, Enhancement Package 3(EA-SCM 603), business function Enhancement of the DSD Process (/DSD/BF), invoices that have already been printed on the mobile device are flagged as already printed in the backend in the final settlement run. Each additional printout of an invoice is flagged as a copy by the system with the comment Repeat Printout.

Up to now, you could issue invoice printouts with mobile devices (with the appropriate printers): Drivers can print invoices on a mobile device while on a customer visit during a tour. The information that the invoice has been printed and when it was printed must be transferred from the mobile device to the DSD backend on completion of the tour, together with the other tour data.

During the final settlement run, the system creates the invoices for the tour on the basis of the data that has been transferred from the mobile device. Message control identifies the invoices that have already been printed on the mobile device by the billing types. It was previously not possible to flag other invoice printouts as repeat printouts.

The system now calls the new function module /DSD/SL_SET_BIL_STATUS in the final settlement run for every invoice that has already been printed on the mobile device. This function module triggers output determination for these billing documents and flags all messages for the print output as completed successfully. The system adopts the time stamp from the mobile device as the processing date and processing time. This ensures that the first printout of an invoice is the original document, and all other printouts are just copies, that is, allocated the comment Repeat Printout.
