Customs Commercial Description (New)

Use

As of SAP Global Trade Services 10.1, you can use the new feature Customs Commercial Description to describe products in more detail to meet the requirements of customs authorities. Commercial descriptions declared to customs authorities should always have enough information so that the customs officer is able to classify the product according to the nomenclature of goods.

In previous releases, the product short text served as the commercial description, but was often insufficient for this purpose. To meet the requirements of customs authorities, as of this release you can define global and country-dependent customs commercial descriptions in different languages.
