Localization for Belgium: Customs Processing with PLDA (New)

Use

Starting in SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services 8.0, you can use electronic customs processing for Belgium for your imports and exports, to declare goods movements that are transported outside the customs territory of the European Union properly to the Belgian customs authorities. SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services communicates the customs declarations to the Belgian PLDA (Paperless Douane & Accijnzen) electronic communications system using XML messages. This helps you automate your processes more completely and reduce paper-based forms.

You can use the processes contained in SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services for PLDA, the Belgium electronic customs processing system, including the following:

• Export of community goods

• Import to free circulation

• Customs warehousing processes
