Connector for the SAP Financial Services Network (Enhanced)

Use

As of release 2.0 of the connector for the SAP Financial Services Network, the following new and enhanced features are provided:

  • Connector Monitor,,(Enhanced)
The File Monitor has been renamed to Connector Monitor and several new functions have been added to the user interface. For more information, see Connector Monitor (Enhanced).
  • Ping Test (New)
You can perform a ping test to test the connectivity between the connector and the SAP Financial Services Network. For more information, see Ping Test (New).
  • Pull Messages (New)
If the required service is available in the SAP Financial Services Network, you can pull messages (synchronously) from the SAP Financial Services Network. For more information, see Pull Messages (New).
  • Pick-up Files (New)
You can create messages from files (for example, IDocs generated by classic payment medium programs). For more information, see Pick-up Files (New).
  • Message Grouping (New)
The system maintains a grouping of related messages. You can view related messages in the Connector Monitor. For more information, see Connector Monitor (Enhanced).
  • Correlation of Inbound Messages (New)
The system automatically correlates inbound messages with the relevant parent message. For example, payment status messages are matched to the relevant payment message. You can view related messges in the Connector Monitor. For more information, see Connector Monitor (Enhanced).
  • SAP Bank Communication Management Not Required (New)
The connector integrates with Bank Communication Management when it is installed and active. However, Bank Communication Management is not mandatory, and the connector can be used without it.

Note that the name of this solution has changed. The first release of the solution was called the connector for the SAP Corporate-to-Bank Services Network.
