SOP: Resources Planning
Description
In Release 3.0C you can carry out resources leveling not only in standard SOP for work center capacities, but also for materials, production resources/tools, and costs in both standard SOP and flexible planning.
Work center capacities are displayed in a split planning screen. To view the other resource loads, you call up standard analyses. In a standard analysis, you can drill down to different levels of detail. For example, you can see the amount of each material and production resource/tool required in a particular plant, or all the cost elements in a controlling area that will be affected by this consumption of resources.
Effects on Customizing
To allow resources leveling to be carried out for an information structure, you enter a "1" next to the Capa allowed indicator in Set parameters for info structures and key figures.
As in Release 3.0a and 3.0b, you carry out the steps:
Changes to the Interface
In standard SOP, you view the capacity load for work centers by selecting Edit -> Capacity situation and then either Detailed planning, Rate-based planning, or Rough-cut planning -> Show in the planning table. In flexible planning, you select Edit -> Capacity situation -> Rough-cut planning -> Show.
In either case, you view the resource load for materials and production resources/tools or costs by selecting Edit -> Capacity situation -> Rough-cut planning and then the desired resource.
In standard SOP, you can view the SOP orders that cause the capacity requirements. To do so, you select Edit -> Capacity situation -> Display pegged requirements.
