Information on Commitments for Sales Document Items

Description

In the Product Cost by Sales Order component, if you have flagged a sales order item (item in an inquiry, quotation, or sales order) as carrying costs and revenues, you can report the purchase order commitments for that item.

This complements the information on the funds commitment in inventory on the sales order item in complex make-to-order environments.

You control whether the commitments management for the sales order item is activated in Customizing for Controlling in the maintenance of the controlling area under sales orders with commitment management.
