Flexible Planning: Improving Performance

Description

Release 4.0A of Flexible Planning comes with a number of additional methods for controlling and improving system performance:

• Aggr. planning indicator
  
  

You set this indicator in the planning type by choosing Maintain planning types. Key figures in this planning type are then aggregated by the database server, and only these totals are transported to the application server. If you do not set this indicator, the details are transported to the application server, which then aggregates them. Any planning types that you created in Release 3.0 or 3.1 have this indicator set automatically.
