Flexible Planning: Excluding Objects from the Planning Process

Description

In Release 4.0A you can exclude characteristic value combinations from the planning process. For example, you might decide that a material is not important enough to be planned at this stage.

To exclude one or more characteristic value combinations from the planning process, you revise the planning hierarchy with Master data -> Planning hierarchy -> Revise. Any characteristic value combinations that you define as non-planned are not deleted from the planning hierarchy: you can retrieve them at any time.
