Release Notes for Production Optimization Interface (POI)
Scope of Functions

As of Release 4.5A it is possible to include the work center along with the BOM and routing when defining the selection parameters for the Master Data download. Work centers contained in the selected routings can now be automatically included, eliminating the need to list them individually.
Two IDOCs have been added for transmitting transaction data:
- LOIMSO01 Warehouse Stock
- LPIPCM01 Production Campaigns
Alternative work center capacity versions can now be sent with segment E1KAREL of IDOC LOIWCS02.
The following IDOCs have segments that have been added to:
- LOIROU02: segment E1PLMZL001
- LOIWCS02: segments E1KAKOL002, E1KAPAL001
- LOIPLO01: segments E1RESBL002, E1PLUV001, E1PLOPL001
- LOIPRO01: segments E1RESBL002, E1AFVOl002, E1AFUVL002

New fields make it possible to create process/production orders without materials.
Monitoring:
Download: Function module CLOI_QUEUE_CHECK enables the external system to check the transmission status of IDOCs and to find out if all IDOCs have been sent.

The selection criteria for monitoring the upload has been expanded to include:
- specific time period
- number of uploads
- error codes

Additional data transfer parameters require the following new customizing steps:
- Define general parameters for transfer. You can now limit the amount of data sent in each data package, for example. You also have the option to use or not to use change pointers.
- Select available capacity version. This step allows you to choose another version besides the active one when sending available capacity data.
- Define filters for production/process orders. This step allows you to narrow the range of data to be downloaded.
- Define filter for control keys. Defining these filters allows you to download only those sub/operations relevant to scheduling and capacity requirements.
- The selection profile for orders and operations must also be maintained in Customizing.
