New Price Update Functions

Scope of Functions

You access the functions to update the prices in the material master by choosing Material Costing -> Price Update. With this function, you can update the results of cost estimates for a material or the results of costing runs.

You can do the following:

• Mark and release standard prices

• Execute and display organizational measures

• Update planned prices 1, 2 and 3

• Update tax-based and commercial prices 1, 2 and 3

• Go to a report in order to analyze a costing run, and compare the costing results with a price from the material master before you update the costing run
