Inclusion of Valuation Variant in Manual Activity and Process Allocation
Scope of Functions
In earlier releases, valuation was always based on the planned activity price of the current period in the following cases:
- With manual activity allocations (i.e., activity allocations that were not performed automatically on the basis of confirmations in logistics)
- With process allocation - regardless of whether the process allocation is manual or template allocation (previously called dynamic process allocation) that was based on a confirmation
In Release 4.6A, valuation in simultaneous costing in Cost Object Controlling in accordance with the valuation strategy specified in the valuation variant is performed when:
- You perform manual activity allocation
- You perform manual process allocation
- The system performs automatic template allocation
A requirement is that the receiving object has a costing variant for simultaneous costing. This is not the case, for example, for production orders without a quantity structure (CO production orders).
