New screen and New Field in Infotype 'Challenge' (0004)
Scope of Functions
The structure of infotype 0004 now includes an additional screen (2006) which contains a new field (P0004-SBPRF). This field stores the degree of challenge to two decimal places.
A French legal requirement has made this change necessary. SAP is therefore recommending that its French customers change over to the new screen.
Other countries can also use the new screen, of course.
Effects on Existing Data
The contents of the old field (P0004-SBPRO) must be adapted to suit the new field.
Effects on Customizing
To change over to the new field, the following steps are necessary:
- Activate the new screen (Customizing):
Maintain the characteristic 'Screen Control for Infotype 0004 : Challenge'
(P0004). The system then uses the return value of the characteristic for screen control.
This value
must be entered in the 'Variable Key' field in the view
'Infotype Screen Control' of table T588M. The value entered in the 'Alternative screen' field must be 2006.
- Run the report 'Conversion of Data for the New Field in Infotype 0004' (RPUP04F0):
This program copies the contents of the old field to the new field.
- Adapt other reports:
All evaluation reports that accessed the old field must be adapted for the new field (P0004-SBPRF).
SAP has already adapted the report 'Statement of Employment for Challenged Persons - D2' (RPLDH2F0) for its French customers.
