User-defined allowed entries for asset super number

Description

The field "Asset super number" (formerly called asset group number)in the asset master record was not checked against a table with allowed entries until now. In Release 3.0C, you can define the allowed entries for this field in FI-AA Customizing. You can specify the features of the super number (asset group number) in the asset master record. You can then use them as sort criteria in reporting.

Effects on Customizing

Define the allowed entries for the asset super number.

Proceed

If you do not define any features for the asset super number, then any kind of entries can be made in the field "asset super number" in the asset master record. No check is then carried out.
