New information system for FI-AA
Description
The reports of Asset Accounting have been grouped together in a reporting tree. Additional reports have been included that were created using ABAP/4 Query. All reports in the reporting tree are called with predefined variants and therefore have a simplified request screen. By pressing the function "All selections", you receive the usual, complete request screen. In particular, all reports are started with the option "Only display group totals" as a default. If you want to display the individual assets, you can also change this option under "All selections". The variants for the reports start with "SAP_...". If necessary, you can copy these variants or create new variants manually and enter them in the reporting tree.
Installation information
- You have to import the original ABAP/4 queries into all clients in your system, in order to be able to copy or modify them. Follow the procedure below:
- Choose System -> Services -> ABAP/4 Query
- Choose Environment -> Functional areas; and press the pushbutton "Transports".
- This accesses the request screen of report RSAQR3TR. The first step is to import the user group AM. Choose the transport action "Import" and, in the lower part of the screen, in the "Transport request with imports", enter the request number P30K055889. Start the run in test mode. Check the results of the test run, and then start the program again without the "test" option.
- In the second step, you import the query objects for the query, the query definitions and the query variants. You import them in the same way, using request number P30K068978. However, note that you cannot carry out a test run here. In addition, you have to set the indicator "Transport of query variants."
- You should then be able to call up the queries from the report tree.
Please note: The named programs import the queries 01 to 13, 27 and 28 for the query objects AM01, AM02, AM03, AM04, AM05, AM06, AM07, AM08, AM09 and AM27. The query user group AM (asset manager) is created. If you already have entries in the system under these keys, these are overwritten by the import. As of 3.0C, it will be possible to rename existing query objects in the system and you can avoid the problem in this way.
- Assign the necessary users to user group AM.
Effects on Customizing
Import the standard queries for Asset Accounting from the delivery client 00 into your productive or test clients.
