Program for Periodic Posting

Description

In Release 4.5A, program RASKBU00 for periodic posting of changes to asset values in a depreciation area was replaced by the new program RAPERB00. When you choose the "Periodic posting" transaction in the FI-AA menu, the system calls the new program RAPERB00 starting in Release 4.5A.

You should no longer use program RASKBU00. SAP will no longer perform any maintenance on this program, and it will be deleted in the next release.

The differences between the new program RAPERB00 and the old program RASKBU00 are described below:

• Transfer documents are no longer handled separately from other types of documents.

• The system creates only one document per month. This document, however, has the required number of line items (one for each account or business area).

• The program takes into account the field status of the G/L accounts regarding cost center, profit center, order, consolidation transaction type and activity type.

• The creation of the line items corressponds to the way they are created for the online posting transaction. As a result, a document for an online posting no longer differs from a document posted using periodic posting.
