SPEC2K interface for spares prcourement iaw ATA SPEC 2000
Scope of Functions
With the "SPEC2K interface for spares procurement in accordance with ATA SPEC 2000", SAP provides a solution that is fully integrated in the SAP System for spares procurement in accordance with the ATA SPEC 2000 specification.
Currently, the following chapters from the specification have been implemented for customers (SAP component MM) and vendors (SAP component SD):
- Chapter 2 (Procurement Planning)
- Chapter 3 (Order Administration)
Chapter 1 (Provisioning) and Chapter 4 (Customer Invoice) will follow shortly.
Document processing (Inquiry/RFQ, Quotation, Purchase Order, Sales Order, Outbound Delivery) is performed using the SAP standard purchasing and sales functions. Communication with the SPEC2K interface takes place using internal IDocs, so that conversions are made in accordance with the specification and the SPEC2000 message file is exported/imported.
