Alert Monitor: Enhancements

Scope of Functions

The APO menu has been reorganized for release 3.0. In the current APO Easy Access menu, choose Supply Chain Monitoring Alert Monitor For Release 3.0A, the following enhancements have been made to the Alert Monitor:

Alert analysis and resolution

  • Ability to link directly to a resolution screen from a list of alerts.
  • Ability to store the history of alerts. In combination with predefined business content within APO and a BW system connection, you can access reports on alert types and their occurrence.
  • Ability to analyze the frequency of an alert for a planning object to determine bottleneck, out of stock candidates, etc. . In combination with predefined business content within APO and a BW system connection, you can access detailed alert information reports.

Alert management

  • Quick access to favorite settings: You can now access your favorite Alert Monitor settings via a shuffler in the Alert Monitor entry screen. You can also maintain your selection of favorites by activating the Favorites maintenance button in the Alert Monitor entry screen toolbar.
  • Acknowledge alerts : Acknowledged alerts are marked with an icon.
  • Show / hide option : You can toggle back and forth between alerts you want to hide or show.
  • Forward alerts to other users : The forwarded alert will appear in the other user's Alert Monitor the next time it is started.
  • Freeze alerts: Alerts can be frozen while you are working in interactive planning. After a planning update, new alerts are marked with a + and vanished alerts are marked -.
  • Create user-specific display variants: Options such as sorting and hiding columns allow you to configure your personal alert display.
