APO-SNP-CTM: Safety Stock Replenishment Using Interval Planning
Use
In CTM, safety stock is created by additional procurement after planning for existing demands has been carried out. As of Support Package 3, if you use interval planning, safety stock is built up after planning for the existing demands in each interval has been carried out. This safety stock can then be used to fulfill the demands which lie in the next interval.
