APO-PPS-PRE: Interruption of Commenced and Partially Confirmed Operations

Use

Commenced and partially confirmed operations are fixed per default for scheduling, in other words, you cannot reschedule these operations on another date or another resource. Up to now, you had no way of interrupting these operations, and bringing forward the processing of another operation.

As of Release 3.0A (First Customer Shipment and Support Package 1), you can interrupt commenced and partially confirmed operations in the Detailed Scheduling planning board. By interrupting operations, you undo the firming for these operations, which enables you to reschedule them. The system assigns the status Interrupted to interrupted operations. You can also interrupt operations that have already been commenced as well as partially confirmed operations for orders that are not based on the iPPE.

If you want to interrupt an operation that has already been commenced or partially confirmed, select the operation and choose Functions -> Interrupt operation.
