Short text
Demand Planning: Like Modeling
Scope of Functions
- Maintaining "like" profiles
- You can now create "like" profiles from the master forecast profile. You can also call up an overview of all "like" profiles, and assign them to products and locations in the overview. The option of maintaining "like" profiles in the product master still exists.
- Assigning to a location
- You can restrict the use of a "like" profile for a product to one location. If you do not assign the profile to a location, the profile is applied to the product across all locations. It is not currently possible to use the same profile for a product in several but not all locations. Moreover, it is not currently possible to use different profiles for different locations of one product.
- If you do restrict the use of a "like" profile for a product to one location, and you also define a phase-in and/or phase-out profile for the product, you must use the same location assignment in the phase-in and/or phase-out profile.
- Time-phased weightings
- Using weighting profiles, you can assign time-phased weightings to different "like" products and have different "like" products for different periods. You define these weightings in the Weighting group field in the univariate forecast profile.
- Deleting "like" profiles
- You can now delete a "like" profile from the "like" product definition screen.
- Lag
- You can lag the forecast results. The lags of all products in the "like" profile must be the same.
