Master Data: Planning Version

Scope of Functions

Copy Planning Version:

In Release 1.1, it was possible to create a copy of the active planning version for use in What If analyses. It is now also possible to copy the Master Data attributes of an inactive planning version back to the active planning version.

Choose Master Data → Model/ Planning Version and select the version to be copied from the screen Model/Plan Management: Display Model Data, then select Copy Model/PlanningVersion.

Compare Planning Versions:

In SNP, you can compare a simulation version with the active planning version. The differences displayed then only refer to the versions compared. You can also copy the simulation version to the active version and save it as such.

To do this, choose Supply Chain Planning → Supply Network Planning → Master Data →Compare Planning Versions in the APO main menu.
