Changes in the Implementation Guide for SEM Banking

Use

Profitability Analysis

Applications that have been reassigned:

• The application Define Standard Disbursement Procedure for Loans can now be found under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Costing -> Additional Settings for Loans -> Define Standard Disbursement Procedure for Loans. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Product Control -> Individual Control -> Loans.

• The application Transfer Condition Records can now be found under Data Pool > Price Parameters. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Tools -> External Data Transfer.

Applications that have been reassigned and renamed:

• The following applications can now be found under Data Pool -> Variable Transactions:
  Edit Number Ranges for Internal Transaction Key
  Edit Number Ranges for Internal Turnover Key
  Edit Number Ranges for Turnover Numbers They used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Product Control -> Individual Control, and were called Number Range for Internal Transaction Key, Number Range for Internal Turnover Key,and Number Ranges for Turnover Numbers.

• The following applications can now be found under Data Pool -> Conditions:
  Edit Condition Types
  Edit Condition List Types
  Edit Condition Lists. They used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Product Control -> Individual Control, and were called Maintain Condition Types, Maintain Condition List Types, and Maintain Condition Lists.

• You can now find the Assign Flow Indicator application under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Costing. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Product Control -> Individual Control, and was called Flow Indicator.

• The application Define Forms for Preliminary Costing for Loanscan now be found under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Costing -> Additional Settings for Loans. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Product Control -> Individual Control -> Loans -> Preliminary Costing, and was called Define Formula for Preliminary Costing.

• The application Copy Company Code-Dependent Settingsis now under Profitability Analysis.It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Product Control, and was called Copy Standard Control.

• You can now find the Assign Costing Rule to Bank Products application under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Costing. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Product Assignment, and was called Maintain Product Assignment.

Applications that have been renamed:

• The Basic Settings are now referred to as the Data Pool. ,,,,,,,,

• The application Maintain Volume Costing Rule, which is located under Profitability Analysis -> Master Data -> Valuation -> Transaction-Independent Volume Costing, is now called Edit Volume Costing Rule.

• The application Maintain Value Field Aggregation is now called Edit Value Field Aggregation, and is located under Master Data -> Value Fields.

• The application Maintain Bank Products is now called Edit Bank Products, and is located under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing.

• The application Maintain Products Variantsis now called Edit Product Variants, and is located under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Product Variants .

• The application Maintain Transaction Differentiationis now called Edit Transaction Differentiation, and is located under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing.

• The application Maintain Condition Records Manually</> is now called Create Condition Records, and is located under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Costing -> Costing Rule -> Flexible Procedures -> Condition Records.

• The application Maintain Condition List is now called Process Condition List, and is located under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Costing -> Costing Rule -> Flexible Procedures -> Condition List.

• The application Maintain Maturity Pattern is now called Edit Maturity Pattern, and is located under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Costing ->Maturity Pattern.

• The application Maintain Derivation Strategy is now called Edit Derivation Strategy, and can be found under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Derivation Strategy for Financial Object -> Foreign Exchange, and so on, and under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing -> Automatic Integration of Financial Objects in Transaction Master Data -> BCA Account, and so on.

• The applications Maintain Characteristics, Maintain Value Fields, and Maintain Operating Concern are now called Edit Characteristics, Edit Value Fields, and Edit Operation Concern, and can be found as before under Profitability Analysis -> Structures -> Define Operating Concern.

Applications that have been deleted

• The Product Control node, and the subnodes Variable Transactions (Old) and Loan

• The node External Data Transfer under Profitability Analysis -> Tools

• The node Product Assignment under Profitability Analysis -> Single Transaction Costing

Risk Analysis

Applications that have been deleted

• Previously Market Risk Analysis, Asset/Liability Management, and Default Risk and Limit System were grouped under the Risk Analysis node. This node has been removed.

Applications that have been reassigned and renamed:

• All applications for bank transaction data and price parameters that were previously found under the Market Risk Analysis node, the Asset/Liability Management node, and the Default Risk and Limit System node are now located under Data Pool.

New applications:

• There is a new activity, Define Start Date for Risk Calculation, which you can find under Credit Risk Analyzer -> Basic Settings -> Definitions -> Define Start Date for Risk Calculation.
