Release 4.03: New Features in Gap Analysis / ALM

Description

Release 4.03 sees the introduction of the list tool for single value analysis within Gap Analysis. The aim of the evaluation is to break result information right down to the actual transaction. You now have the possibility of displaying the most important key figures on one list for all affected financial transactions. Within this list, you can navigate to the actual transaction or to the gap result display for the individual object.

In Release 4.03 you have the possibility of deleting the saved Gap Analysis results.

You now create and edit planning variants in the area menu rather than in Customizing.

You can now use templates to create planning variants. When you create a planning variant with a template, the planning parameters in the template are copied to the planning variant. The planning variant also features a memo function which you can use to enter notes. By choosing planning parameters, you enter the portfolio hierarchy. In the portfolio hierarchy, you can select and edit several nodes. The planning parameters you have entered then apply for all selected nodes. Planning parameters are now entered using tabstrips.

In the Gap report types before Release 4.03, you had the option - within the report-report interface - of jumping from the overall gap report to a report comprising a subset of the key figures in the overall report. When this jump was made, the system always attempted to read the result information from the memory. As from Release 4.03, the results of these target reports will be calculated from scratch.
