New Release Objects

Scope of Functions

The release object Payment postprocessing (ZNB) has been added for the new payment postprocessing function. If you already use Loans Management, you can still use the existing release object Incoming payment postprocessing (NBZE) in parallel to the new object. In the release function the corresponding texts indicate which object is being used.

The release object Payoff (REPAYMENT) has been added for the new payoff function.

The release object Waivers/write offs (WAIVE) has been added for the new function for waivers/write-offs.

Note:
When you perform the final release for a payoff, waiver or write-off, you can continue with the next step in the processing sequence, such as activation or posting. You can control this in a separate screen for further processing.

Effects on Customizing

You set up the release objects "ZNB: Payment postprocessing", "REPAYMENT: Payoff" and "WAIVE: Waivers/write-offs" in the IMG activities Define Active Indicator and Define Release Status Parameters. You also have to enhance the standard role in the IMG activity Adjust/Copy Workflow Template. Create the relevant responsibilities for the new release objects and then assign them to the appropriate users.
