Variable Transactions with Values from Ledger Accounts (Enhanced)

Use

From Release Banking 4.63 the existing link to ledger accounts has been enhanced for the variable transaction.

Previously, accounts in an FI-GL/SI ledger could be referenced via variable transactions with value maintenance "With flows from FI G/L accounts". The average balance of these accounts was then set in value field BDSVOL during costing.

This existing link has been made more flexible by the new value maintenance "With values from ledger accounts" (value maintenance 5). During costing, quantities and values (for example, closing balances, average balances and periodic balances) can be selected from the ledger and set in the value fields of your choice. You can limit the selection to any ledger dimensions (for example, account number and profit center), and choose either transaction currency or local currency. The corresponding financial object has a profitability analysis part with transaction differentiation. The financial object is derived automatically by means of automatic financial object integration.
