Correspondence with Correspondence Tool (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP ECC Enterprise Extension Financial Services 6.0 (EA FS 600), you can use the following new functions within the Correspondence with Correspondence Tool (SAP Smart Forms):

  • Sample letters for the following cases:
  • Confirmation of loan award

  • Confirmation of deferral agreement

  • Confirmation of capitalization of overdue items

  • Confirmation of installment plan change

  • Notice given by the lender

  • Confirmation of payoff

  • Confirmation of rescission of credit life insurance

  • Account Statements

  • Confirmation of a change (such as bank details, for example)

  • If correspondence cannot be delivered to a business partner address, you can choose one of the following options for creating correspondence:
  • Print with address

  • Print with empty address field

  • Send letters to different addresses for business partner groups
If the members of a business partner group have different addresses, the system can print a letter several times with the address of each member of the group.
  • Write one letter addressed to both marriage partners if their addresses are identical
If two marriage partners (linked by the relationship is married to in the Business Partner for Financial Services) are assigned to the same loan as main loan partners or borrowers, and both partners have the same address, the system can create a letter addressed to both partners at their shared mailing address.

Effects on Customizing

If you want to use the following functions, perform the relevant IMG activities:

  • Settings for Correspondence Cannot Be Delivered:
Define General Control Parameters for Correspondence.
  • Settings for Send Letters to Different Addresses for Business Partner Groups and Write One Letter to Both Marriage Partners if Their Addresses Are Identical.
Define Control Parameters for Recipient Determination
