Changes to the IMG Structure for Loans Management

Use

As of SAP ECC Enterprise Extension Financial Services 6.0 (EA-FS 600)the structure of the implementation guide (IMG) for Loans Managementhas changed.

Additional Activities

Basic Settings

  • Under Organization, you will find the following new IMG activity:
  • Process Organizational Plan

  • Under Number Ranges in Loans Management, you will find the following new IMG activity:
  • Bill Number

Transaction Management

  • Under Products -> Product Category-Specific Settings, you will find the following new IMG activities:
  • Determine Attributes for Installment Loans (360)

  • Display Attributes for Installment Loans (360)

  • Under Products, you will find the new structure node Field Selection Control, with IMG activities for setting up this function.
  • Under Flow Types, you will find the following new IMG activity:
  • Exclude Flow Types from Billing

  • Under Condition Types, you will find the following new IMG activities:
  • Determine Additional Properties for Installment Loans

  • Determine Condition Types for Payment Plans

  • Control Condition Verification

  • BAdI: Customer-Specific Condition Checks

  • Here you will find the new structure node Insurance, with IMG activities for setting up this function.

  • Under Incoming Payment, you will find the new structure node Extended Incoming Payment Distribution, with IMG activities for setting up these functions.
  • Under Accounting -> Basic Settings, you will find the following new IMG activity:

  • Under Accounting -> Reversal, you will find the following new IMG activity:
  • BAdI: Assignment of External Reversal Reasons

  • Under Accounting, you will also find the new structure node Event-Based Charges, with IMG activities for setting up this function.
  • Under Business Operations, there is a new structure node Disbursement in Workplace for Business Operations:
  • There is a new structure node Disbursement for Consumer Loans, and the existing IMG activity Define Bank Numbers for Discharge of Loan has been reassigned from the Disbursementnode to this node.

Deleted Activities

Tools

  • Under External Data Transfer, the entire structure node Transfer R/2 Financial Assets Managementhas been deleted.

Reassigned IMG Activities

  • Under Accounting, the entire structure node Reserve for Bad Debt (RBD)has been reassigned. The Customizing for this separate application component is no longer in the Customizing for Loans Managementbut is assigned directly under SAP Banking.
  • Under Business Operations, the IMG activity Define Bank Codes for Discharge of a Loan has been moved from the structure node Disbursementto the new node Disbursement for Consumer Loans.

Remarks on Statutory Reporting

For more information about the changes made under the structure node Statutory Reporting for Insurance Companies(under Information System), see IMG Changes in Statutory Reporting for Insurance Companies. The application component Statutory Reporting for Insurance Companies(FS-SR), including the release notes, is only available in German in the standard system.
