Editing Installment Loans (New)
Use
As of SAP ECC Enterprise Extension Financial Services 6.0 (EA FS 600) a new screen is available for editing loans from the new product category Installment Loans (360) under New Business -> Installment Loans -> Edit. In this screen, you can edit all master data for a loan or display information. It contains the following components:
- Master Data
- In the Master Data component you define general contract data, for example the product and commitment capital.
- Conditions
- For more information, see Products and Conditions for Installment Loans (New).
- Partner
- In the Partner component you can define the business partners for an installment loan. For more information about new business partner roles, see Business Partner Roles for Installment Loans (New).
- Financial Data
- In the Financial Data component you can display all financial data for an installment loan.
- Payment Plan
- The Payment Plan displays an overview of paid and outstanding installments.
- Cash Flow
- The Cash Flow displays all flows that were generated from conditions or contract data or were manually entered in chronological order.
- Billing
- For more information, see Billing for Installment Loans (New).
- Account Statements
- The Account Statement shows all flows for a loan.
- Loan Commitment
- The Loan Commitment shows a general overview of the loan positions for a business partner.
- Organization
- In the Organization component you define the general organizational data for an installment loan, for example condition-determining parameters and the loan officer assigned to the loan.
- Collateral
- To manage collateral call the component Collateral Management (CMS).
- Insurance
- For more information, see Insurance for Installment Loans (New).
- Default
- For more information, see Default Processing for Installment Loans (New).
- Stops
- For more information, see Stops Management for Installment Loans (New).
You can adjust the display of the individual fields in the components to your needs using the Field Selection Control. For more information, see Field Selection Control for Installment Loans (New).
Many fields are filled with default values from the product on which the loan is based, and the condition table assigned to the product. This significantly reduces the amount of data you need to enter when you create a loan. For more information, see Products and Conditions for Installment Loans (New).
The functions Rescission and Withdrawal are available in the function Edit Installment Loan. With the function Rescission you can rescind an installment loan from the category Installment Loans (360) within a fixed period. Rescinding a loan contract renders it ineffective. The borrower does not incur any costs.
With the function Withdrawal you can enter a withdrawal from a loan from the category Installment Loans (360). A withdrawal terminates a loan contract early, however the borrower usually incurs costs, such as interest and charges.
For more information about the new function for loans belonging to the product category Installment Loans (360), see Product Category Installment Loans (360) (New).
