Use

Marketplace Adapter

As of Release SAP XI 3.0 the MarketSet adapter has been renamed the marketplace adapter.

You use the marketplace adapter to connect marketplaces to SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI). The adapter converts the XI message format to the marketplace format MarketSet Markup Language (MML) and the other way around.

The marketplace adapter supports the following transport protocols:

• HTTP

• HTTPS

• JMS Sonic MQ 3.5

You configure the adapter in the configuration part of the Integration Builder.

RFC Adapter

The RFC adapter uses the RFC interface to communicate with SAP systems. The new J2EE-based RFC adapter replaces the previous ABAP-based RFC adapter.

It is part of the new Adapter Engine, which is based on the adapter framework. You configure the adapter in the configuration part of the Integration Builder.
