Aggregates

Use

The new interface for aggregates has been reduced from many screens, between which you had to jump, down to just one screen. This is divided up into an InfoCube tree, an aggregate tree and a message box.

You now have the option of dragging and dropping components directly from the InfoCube tree into the aggregate tree and of editing them there.

Dimensions and characteristics/attributes are displayed when an aggregate node is expanded. Furthermore, columns of the previous aggregate component definition are displayed, meaning aggregation level, hierarchy, hierarchy level and fixed value.

In the aggregate maintenance you get to dialog box Roll up aggregate hierarchy” via Aggregate hierarchy”. A hierarchy is displayed here of which other aggregates were used for creating the respective aggregates.

You have the additional option of jumping to the transport connection via the pushbutton "Transport connection", which now allows you to transport aggregates directly from out of the aggregate maintenance.
