Fill variable values from the results of another query

Use

You can fill a characteristic value variable with the results of another query, if the characteristic in this query is drilled down.

Example

You can define a query that has the characteristic 'material' in its drilldown. Using suitable filters, you can determine the materials that you are interested in analyzing further. You define a second query containing a variable for the material. The variable for material in the second query is filled using the first query, and you can analyze the materials that you selected previously (in the first query).
