New Business Content: Retention Management

Use

The Retention Management area provides reporting and analysis tools for managing a customer portfolio, focusing on profitability and the customer relationship in terms of:

  • Effective customer service
  • Customer responsiveness to marketing campaigns
  • Costs incurred in the customer relationship
  • Customer perception of the products and services offered
  • Assessment of the trends demonstrated by these figures.

These tools will help the Retention Manager identify key customers and opportunities, in order to increase revenues and profits from these customers, and to retain them by ensuring satisfactory products and services are consistently provided.

The following are some of the new objects that have been created in this area:

  • ABC Customer Analysis: Contribution Margin/Sales (Workbook)
Technical names of queries:
0CRM_MC03_Q0012 and 0CRM_MC03_Q0013
0CRM_MC03_Q0014 to 0CRM_MC03_Q0017
Enables you to identify those customers with a combination of high/low sales and a high/low contribution margin, the figures for which therefore vary from those for the average customer.
  • Customer Lifetime Value (query)
Technical name: 0CRM_MC03_Q0024
Used for customer portfolio analysis. It displays the cumulative contribution margins and sales for a customer over a given period, helping to identify changes in productivity and in the customer relationship as early as possible.
