Authorizations in Hierarchies in Reporting (amended)

Use

As of BW Release 3.0A, there is the option to define a node and the relative interval for the level, alongside the previous hierarchy definition options. Up to now, only one absolute level could be specified.

A typical example of when an absolute level is specified is in data protection on the detail level (The works council rule: no reports on an employee level, only on a higher compressed level).

Specializing a relative level makes sense in the case when an employee may be allowed to expand the hierarchy only up to a particular depth under his or her initial node, but when restructuring the hierarchy moves this node to another level.
