SP 5 : Enhanced Reporting Agent Functions

Use

The Reporting Agent has the following enhancements as of support package 5 of BW 3.0A:

• Bookmark Administration: The bookmarks created by the user are displayed in the Reporting Agent centrally and you can delete them using specific selection criteria.

• Enhanced Parameterization of the Follow-up Action "Alert Monitor": In the "Exception Reporting" component of the Reporting Agent, you can choose the texts of the Stored Query Views that you are using. You can parameterize these texts with text variables that describe the view context. Logs and BW alert displays are no longer shown on view level, instead you can display them for each exception cell. You can also create free texts that you can parameterize for each individual alert. You can also give the alert monitor entries a URL of your choice. This enables you to jump from the alert monitor into the stored query view that you are using or to any other resource.
