Display Area for Variables (enhanced)

Use

As of release 3.0, the following display areas for variables are available in addition to Single value, Interval, and Selection options:

• Several single values

You can enter several single values using the option Several single values. This type of variable consists of a combination of Single value and Selection option. This display area can be combined with the variable type Characteristic value or Hierarchy node.

• Pre-calculated value set

The variable type Characteristic value can now also be combined with the display area Pre-calculated value set. The variables value is not a characteristic value in this case, but rather a technical name, under which a materialized selection of characteristic values is stored in the system.The system implements this materialized selection as a databank table that can be filled with Reporting agent in the background.
