SP7: Scheduler (Changed)

Use

For BW 3.0A, several usability changes have been made in the scheduler:

• In the header data, through a link to the InfoSource, DataSource and the source system, you can now jump to the InfoSource maintenance for the communication structure or transfer structure. The pushbutton for the data type has been replaced with simple text, since the function behind the pushbutton is obsolete.

• Various fields on the tabstip have been renamed to give a more standardized or clear display.

• Fields, pushbuttons, tables and indicators that are dependent on specific settings are only ready-for-input or are displayed only if these settings are available. So, for example, on the tabstrip Schedule, the fields and pushbuttons that are relevant only for executing the load process in the background, are active only when you have selected Start Later in the Background.

• Tabstrip Select Data -> Data Selection:

• You can insert duplicate rows for inputting selection criteria for InfoObjects or fields using the corresponding pushbutton underneath the table.

• You now control the use of conversion exists using an indicator which also has field help.

• Tabstrip Select Hierarchy -> Hierarchy Selection

• The tabstrip has been extensively restructured.

• Tabstrip External Data

• The tabstrips External Data and External Data Parameters have been combined into the tabstrip External Data. The tabstrip has been extensively restructured.

• Tabstrip Data Targets:

• The dialog window Deleting Requests... has been extensively restructured. If you choose Do Not Delete Requests there, the totals indicator no longer appears, but an empty pushbutton.

• Tabstrip Update Parameters-> Update

• Tabstrip Schedule:

• From the dialog box Post-processing Methods Selection, using pushbuttons in a new mode, you reach the BAdI definition or implementaion maintenance.
