Release Procedure Based on an ABAP Class (New)

Use

As of Release SAP_ABA 710, in addition to the release procedures based on a BOR object each with a predefined number of release steps, a workflow template based on an ABAP class is available to you, with which you can realize release procedures with any number of release steps.

If you wish to use the new workflow template, in Customizing under Assign Release Procedure to the Release Procedure WF (view variant for V_TBCA_RTW_LINK) you must to set the Usage Type of SAP Business Workflow to C, ABAP class and assign a workflow template that is compatible to workflow template 50100597 as release procedure workflow.
