/CPD/CA_CPD_PFP_1: Planning Workbook (New)
Use
As of SAP Commercial Project Management 1.0 (comprising add-ons on SAP enhancement package 6 SP05 for SAP ERP and SAP enhancement package 3 SP05 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0), the business function CPD, Project Cost and Revenue Planning (/CPD/CA_CPD_PFP_1), you can use workbooks, based on integration with SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office 1.3, which integrate macros, queries, planning functions, and the required processes to make it work. Planning workbooks help you define the layout and format of your planning sheet and allows you to create plans based on structures that you create for master projects.
Different workbooks, along with relevant planning functions, are provided for:
- Planning on monthly, weekly, and daily breakdown levels. You can also embed queries for summary information.
- Forecasting (see /CPD/CA_CPD_PFP_1: Forecasting (New))
- Version comparison
- Planning with SAP Multiresource Scheduling (MRS) (see /CPD/CA_CPD_PFP_1: End-to-EndProcess Integration (New))
The characteristics that you plan against include resource types, resources, unit of measurement, currency, and so on. The key figures you plan against include quantity, cost, revenue, and so on across planning periods. You can also add other custom characteristics and key figures. The cost and revenue are calculated based on transaction currency or plan currency.
