New functions in DART for release 4.6C

Use

The following new functions were implemented in release 4.6C:

• View files can now optionally be split into multiple files that are limited by the maximum file size specified in the Extract configuration. When executing a view query, select the checkbox "Apply file size limit" if you want to use this feature.

• Extract and view file log display now use the List Viewer to display the information. Users can configure what columns should be displayed and how to group the log data. Multiple display variants can be created, and users can set any variant as a personal default.

• When retrieving archived extract or view files, the utility checks if enough disk space is available in the exchange directory.

• The file size worksheet can now save the data that was entered. Multiple worksheets can be saved and edited. The utility now also displays the currently available disk space in the sort directory.

• The control total verification utility now also checks the item totals against the account balance data (segment TXW_BBACC in extract and table GLT0 in on-line system).

• Control total and checksum verification utilities now include an option for the message type in case of a negative result. This way negative check results are more readily visible in the job log.

• There is a new utility to check all control totals in a data extract (for all company codes and periods available in the extract). The program name is RTXWCHK4.

• The directory set configuration now optionally displays the currently available disk space.
