Automatic Generation Of Settlement Rules

Description

Previously you had to maintain the settlement rule for internal orders manually. Now the system is able to do so automatically.

Effects on Customizing

To enable the system to automatically create settlement rules for an internal order, you need to assign a strategy sequence to the order. You can display SAP standard strategy sequences in Customizing and, if required, create user-defined strategy sequences. You then assign the strategy sequence to an order type. This means that all orders created at a later date for this order type receive this strategy sequence. You can also maintain the strategy sequence at a later date in the master data for the order. Additionally, you need to specify in Customizing when the system is to generate the settlement rules, and the change behavior of such a rule.
