Transfer Prices/Parallel Valuation in the Information System

Description

In Release 4.0, CO lets you update data using three separate valuation methods at the same time for certain transactions:

• Legal (company code) valuation

• Corporate valuation

• Profit center valuation

The new characteristic "Valuation type" in the reporting tables CCSS and RWCOOM lets you display these different valuation methods (technical name: VALUTYP) in the information system.

When you use a variable for the characteristic "Valuaton type" in your reports -- as is the case with the standard reports -- the system displays a field in which you must enter the valuation type on the selection screen if you have activated multiple valuation methods in at least one controlling area in the current client. If you are not using multiple valuation methods, you are not asked to specify one for your reports.
