Maintaining variables in the Information System in Release 3.0A.

Description

The use of variables in the Information System was enhanced by the following:

1. The user interface for maintain variables was improved. Now, the system only diplays the fields which are relevant for the selected variable type.
2. The system now checks local and global variables more thoroughly, in order to prevent errors from occurring when you execute the report.
3. New global variables with an SAP exit
   The standard system contains the following variables:
1. &1AWD: current working day
   If the current date is not a working day in the work calendar '01', the system chooses the last working day previous to the current date. In statements such as &1AWD + n, where n is a number, the system adds the current working day plus n working days.
2. &0DAT: current date
   The statement &0DAT + n means that the system adds n days to the current date.

These variables are available for all fields of the type "Date". You can display them using the "Possible entries" function.
