Business Data Display (Changed)

Use

If you have implemented SAP CRM 4.0 Add-On for Service Industries, this release note is not relevant for you.

As of SAP CRM 5.0, the Interaction Center (IC) WinClient business data display (BDD) is changed to include identification of the main business partner if multiple business partners exist.

After the account is confirmed, the business partner data is passed to the BDD. When business partner parameters are passed to action box transactions, it is not known which business partner should be passed if more than one exists, for example, if there is a both a main business partner and a contact person. Users either had to select the business partner in the BDD before selecting the action box transaction, or had to manually enter the business partner number in an action box parameter dialog screen.

Now the business partner who is marked as Main in the business partner search area is automatically passed when used by the action box. Users can override this by selecting the business partner in the BDD before choosing the action box transaction.

To always receive the paramater screen, set the Parameter Dialogfor the transaction in Define Configuration Profile for Action Box.
