New function for managing quotations

Use

You now can offer your customers the opportunity to save quotations.

• In the shopping basket, your customers can receive a quotation for each item entered. This quotation is saved automatically.

• Customers can generate an order with reference to a selected quotation during document processing.

• If customers access an SAP Internet Sales Web shop from a purchasing system, they can order products with reference to a quotation. The quotation is transferred to purchasing system via the Open Catalog Interface (OCI).

• To allow the system to calculate a validity date(receipt of quotation date + validity period), perform the following steps in the Customizing of Customer Relationship Management:

Select Transactions-> Maintain Transaction Types: Enter a validity period for the transaction type that is maintained in the detail screen of the Web shop maintenance

• Define that it should be possible to manage quotations in this way in Web shop maintenance

Note:

If you want to use to One-Step-B2B, then the quotation management flag must be set (only valid for Release CRM 2.0B).
